The membership sale is on! September is such a great month to buckle down, create a new routine and start a good workout and nutrition program. When you join the Strong Mommas Membership during the month of September, you'll save $30!
I’m sure you’re already in the know, but in case you’re not, here are some quick details about the Strong Mommas membership program:
Ok, that’s the quick run-down. But I know you probably have more specific questions, especially about the workouts. “What if I’m brand new to all of this. Will I get overwhelmed?” There are plenty of ways inside the membership that will hold your hand. Before you start any workout, you can follow along with a 20-minute technique video that teaches you how to do proper squats, push-ups, planks, deadlifts, and even how to jump properly. Also, you can start with the QuickStart Guide, which is one full month of very basic workouts that are separate from the regular routines. During this month, you will create a great foundation to build upon and can easily transition to the regular workouts thereafter. I also offer all members half-off discounts on Private Coaching Calls with me. (Regularly $60 for a 30-minute call.) I can talk you through everything and point you in the right direction for what you need, specifically. “Are the workout safe to do if I’m pregnant or recently had a baby?” Yes! When I design the beginner workout routines every month, I keep in mind prenatal and postnatal mommas. The beginner program has almost zero jumping, long plank holds, or positions that would be uncomfortable for pre-/postnatal moms. And if something doesn’t feel right, you have plenty of ways to contact me and ask me more questions. “Do you provide ways to heal my abs and pelvic floor after pregnancy?” Yes. I recommend choosing the beginner workouts, and then adding in the 3 Phases of Diastasis Recti Healing Protocols. These are simple strengthening circuits that provide you with the proper progression to find your core again postpartum. “What if I’m not at all postpartum. Are all the workouts just geared toward moms with young babies and kids?” Nope, not at all. The workouts consist of sound strength and conditioning exercises that are intended for everyone. There are simply add-on options to make them specific for postpartum mommas. “How much weight will I lose?” Now that is entirely up to you. Everybody is different and coming from very unique circumstances. I have witnessed some members lose 20-30 pounds, while others don’t see the scale move at all, although their clothes fit completely differently. You will learn that it’s not all about the scale, and I will help you gain a big-picture perspective on what it means to be your healthiest self. All that being said, you will have access to all the tools necessary to make some pretty significant body changes. It’s your job to use the tools and make it happen. “Are these just cookie-cutter workouts? Is there a way to customize them for me?” Every month you will have access to a brand new set of female-specific workouts. You can make these unique for you by choosing Workout Add-Ons (like metabolic finishers, Build-A-Butt workshop, core strengthening circuits). You can make them work even more for you by choosing the number of workouts you do each week, the order in which you do them, or even do the cardio and yoga-style workouts a couple times per week. “I do best when I follow along with somebody. Do you have options for me?” Yes, ma’am! Every couple weeks I do a LIVE Workout with everyone in the Facebook coaching group, so be sure to participate! Also, a couple of the workouts (Workouts C, D and F) are follow-along videos. All the other workouts have quick video demonstrations of each exercise. But let me say this: it’s very important to learn good exercise technique and be able to implement it with confidence on your own, not just mindlessly following along with an instructor. When you truly learn, your confidence in your body goes through the roof and all of this will actually stick! “Will I need a gym membership?” Nope! If you prefer to go to the gym to workout, no problem. You can print out the workouts and take them with you to the gym. But these can all be done at home with very minimal equipment. “What about accountability? Will there be anyone checking in on me to see if I’m on track?” Because this is an online membership, accountability options are naturally limited. However, the coaching group on Facebook is full of other women just like yourself that are asking questions daily, posting about their workouts, and even venting frustrations. I check in with group every day to make sure everyone is feeling on track. I also recommend having a friend join the membership with you! Hopefully this answers most of your questions about the workout portion of the membership. (And yes, there’s all of the nutrition coaching, too!) If you still have a question that I failed to answer, please feel free to comment below and I’ll help you out! Click here to take advantage of the Fall Special and join the membership today!
