Exercise Technique

In exercise, quality over quantity is the best motto. Learn how to do fundamental exercises with impeccable technique.
​If you can master these techniques, you will do well in all of your workouts.

Positional Breathing

Have you ever thought of breathing as an "exercise"? It is probably the most important movement that your body performs. But, are you breathing correctly? Proper breathing technique and the position of your diaphragm effects every other exercise, especially core exercises. 

The Perfect Plank

Doing a plank is so much more than just trying to be flat for as long as possible. This video demonstrates the perfect plank, showing you how to position your neck, shoulders, hips and heels. You will also learn how to breathe properly while you're bracing in the plank.  

The Perfect Push-up

Learn how to do a perfect push-up to avoid wrist, shoulder and back injuries. You should always think of a push-up as a moving plank. If you don't have enough core strength to hold a perfect plank throughout your push-ups, elevate your hands onto a step, bench or railing.
